Sharjah RTI Park CEO Visits Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research

The Director General of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR), Dr. Samira Ahmed Al-Sayed Omar, received the CEO of Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park), Mr. Hussain Al-Mahmoudi, at her office today to discuss cooperation in the fields of technology and R&D at a regional level.

Mr. Al-Mahmoudi stressed the importance of cooperation with the Institute as it’s achieved a great deal in the field of R&D since its establishment 50 years ago and the Park would be honored to benefit from the best practice the Institute has established. He added that the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park aims at consolidating the concept of scientific research and strengthening the partnership between the academic, governmental and private sectors.

Dr. Samira Al-Sayyid Omar stressed the importance of cooperation between the two sides in the scientific and research fields and expressed her appreciation toward the SRTI Park for their interest in using the Institute's R&D models. Dr. Al Sayyid Omar expressed the Institutes readiness to cooperate with the SRTI Park in the fields of research at the regional and international levels, as well as develop a relationship and partnership between Gulf research institutions.
